the hotel of choice in yogyakarta. stylish and clean place with excellent staff at reception desk. very very good breakfast with a lot of food options.

Luxurious hotel, it has good service, favourable location much to explore except the temples n caves. There are newly renovated and decent sized rooms with exceptionally clean bathrooms.

Truly enjoyed my fine stay in our last visit. The room was recently renovated, caring staff. The hotel was in an ideal and excellent position next to Borobudur and Prambanan, Yogyakarta center and airport and Malioboro street. Everything was simply fabulous.

The rooms were incredible and beautiful. The views over the garden were particularly good. The bathroom was nice, and it included WiFi and an iron. The hotel was close to the airport. The location was relatively close to Gudeg Yu Djum, a famous culinary destination in Jogja. It was relatively close to Mcdonald's Adisucipto.

The hotel provides excellent value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail. The location is perfect, situated in a strategic area. The staff are friendly and provide great service. The rooms have a nice garden view with a touch of Javanese architecture.

All aspects of this hotel were satisfactory.

The main reason that I chose Sheraton over other hotels is because the description of the hotel on Booked.net stating that I can see mount Merapi right from the balcony for mountain view room

The main reason that I chose Sheraton over other hotels is because the description of the hotel on Booked.net stating that I can see mount Merapi right from the balcony for mountain view room so I paid higher price for one sadly that I was given a room at 4th floor that no doubt I was facing the mount Merapi direction.. what I can see was only the garden n swimming pool I was unable to know whether any higher floors would have better mountain view but so far when I went to lobby floor which is at 7th floor.. I finally got a glimpse of the mount Merapi ! from that view I think any level lower than lobby actually would not give guest a mountain view right from the balcony.. as perceived by hotel photo on Booked.net I was rather disappointed for this.. other that this the hotel is recommended

30+ minutes in taxi from main area, not 5 star no way, staff useless, run down building, no love, just big price. living off the sheraton name !!!!!!!

This hotel offers great value for money. The rooms, although in need of renovation, are comfortable with great views of Mount Merapi and the hotel lawns. The staff members are very courteous and provide excellent service, from the front desk to the housekeeping staff. The hotel also boasts basic amenities with a touch of Javanese architecture. The breakfast spread, especially the Indonesian specialities, is worth trying.

No improvement needed, everything was satisfactory.

The room with direct access to lagoon pool worth every penny. Spacious bedroom, very quiet environment. Perfect for honeymooners or anyone searching for mind rejuvenation.

The room service meals could have been better in terms of taste & presentation. One item was missing from each breakfast package we ordered.

The hotel is conveniently located near a few mosques and just a stone's throw away from Adi Sucipto airport. It's also a quick drive to several nearby malls, making it perfect for those who love shopping. If relaxation is what you're after, the spa and fitness center offer scenic views of a waterfall.

One of the restaurants advertised a half roasted chicken at a premium price, but the chicken that arrived at the table was less than appetizing and disappointing.

Large rooms but only one armchair in the room. Quiet and secure. Excellent Spa and facilities.

Large water glasses for tea and coffee in room. Only one armchair. Shower over the bath with curtain and high step up into bath. Don't bother paying extra for a mountain view room. Hardly ever visible! Rather dated and old fashioned. Corridors are noisy.

Spent Xmas at this hotel and had a great time! Loved the fact that they offered complimentary drinks upon arrival and also had a complimentary shuttle to the market. The pool area was stunning and the location was perfect for exploring the city. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The lack of variety in the breakfast buffet was a bit disappointing, and the bathroom could use a little updating. had a great stay and would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing and fun holiday.

Swiming pool, and gardens were just great. Location is not very close to the city main atractions, but if you want a resting holidays in a fancy hotel, probably there's no better option in town. Rooms were rather in the super big size. In general you wouldn't really like to leave the hotel to explore the city, for it is so nice and comfy there.

If you plan to go walking to the hotel lobby from the entrance, just discard the idea, from the main entrance to the lobby there's not only a long distance, there's also an artificial 7 floors hill. The lobby happens to be in the 7th floor, and there's a steepy road to access to it from the main Sheraton entrance. Besides that, staff could do better in the command of english.
